Screen Capture

How to save the PC screen display to an image (this example a JPEG)
If a picture cannot be downloaded from a website, this alternative can be used.
In this example, the aim is to save the picture of a donkey (contained on an online newspaper) as
a picture on the PC.
We do this with the help of Adobe Photoshop Elements.

1/ Press the [Print screen] button on the PC keyboard.
This saves the entire screen display to the PC memory (clipboard).
Note: To save the active window only, press [Alt] and [Print Screen] at the same time

2/ Open Photoshop elements.

3/ Click File/New from clipboard.
The screen image appears.

4/ Use the Crop tool to surround the wanted image.

5/ Click Image/Crop
Only the wanted image remains.

6/ Save the image to the PC (click File/Save as...)

7/ From the Format scroll down list, select JPEG

8/ Type a name for the image in the File Name box.

9/ Click Save.
In the popup, select High in Image Quality Options.
